Welcome to our website. I really appreciate your interest in our company and our products. 

In 2008 celebrated Kress its 80th jubilee. We are very proud of this event. For sure, there are many companies which are older and larger than ours but also many which are younger and smaller. Some companies even did not manage to become so old and they already disappeared from the market. Nowadays, it is a brilliant feat to become more than 80 years as a company.

In due time the founder Christian Kress, my grandfather, did an extraordinary job as a pioneer. He was a thoroughgoing tinkerer and invented many products where many patents emerged, too.

Later on, when my father Willy Kress took over the company from his father, the company grows very fast to a respectable medium-sized company. Among his technical interest which was always in the fore, he also had a keen sense to market our products successfully. This very day, some of our current product range shows his typical style.

Today I run the company in the third generation for over one decade. Since then we kept on developing and growing. Nowadays, our sales activities extend around the globe. KRESS electric power tools delight customers in more than 60 countries and support them at their daily work.

Times change steadily and we have to keep up with the times which had already been distinguished by my grandfather and always been taken to my father’s heart. Otherwise we would not be able to remain an independent family-owned company.

Nevertheless, we often defy going with a trend. A relocation abroad had never been a subject as well as a acquisition of so-called “corporate raiders” had always been declined with thanks. Independence always was and still is connected with hard work but gives a great pleasure when fruitful.

Thus, primarily we would like to thank our customers who buy and appreciate our high-quality products.

Our staff make a huge contribution on the success of our company. Therefore, sincere thanks are given to all. Without their knowledge and engagement a family-owned company of our size cannot be operated successfully. 

The inventive talent continue to live at Kress. The ideas and the knowledge of our employees combined with the demands of our customers make sure that in future Kress produces innovative electric power tools for highest demands  in our production site in Germany and Switzerland.
